To access your DVR using a desktop or laptop.
a. Run Internet Explorer on your PC (DOES NOT SUPPORT INTERNET EXPLORER (64-BIT)).
b. To access your DVR locally, enter the following address on Internet Explorer:
CVI DVR: http://192.168.1.88
TVI DVR: http://192.168.1.88:9000
To access your DVR remotely, enter the following address on Internet Explorer:
CVI DVR: http://????????.quickddns.com
TVI DVR: http://????????.newddns.com:8000
c. Enter the login information.
Default Username: admin
Default Password: admin OR 123456 OR 12345abcD
2. How to access your DVR using a smartphone?
To access the DVR on iPhone or Android, go to the App Store and download "SuperLivePro" for analog DVR, "gDMSS Lite (Android) / iDMSS Lite(iPhone) for CVI DVR, or "iVMS-4500" for TVI DVR.
a. With analog DVR, run SuperLivePro, and add the device with following information,
Address: ??????.newddns.com:8000
Username: admin
Password: 123456 (Default password)
b. With CVI DVR,
To start a live view:
Step 1: Click on the icon on the upper right corner.
Step 2: Select the device and click Start Live Preview button.
To add a new device:
Step 1: Click on the 3 horizontal lines icon on the upper left corner, and select Device Manager.
Step 2: Click on the icon on the upper right corner.
Step 3: Click OK on the upcoming message, Wired Device, and Quick DDNS.
Step 4: Fill in all the information.
Step 5. Click on Start Live Preview button.
c. For TVI DVR,
To start a live view:
Step 1. Click on the icon on the upper right corner.
Step 2: Select the device and click Start Live view button.
To add a new device:
Step 1: Click on the icon on the upper left corner, and select Device.
Step 2: Click on the + icon on the upper right corner, select manual adding.
Step 3: On register mode, select ip/domain.
Step 4: Fill in all the information.
Step 5: Click on Start Live Preview button.
